The round table for the establishment of Regional Network of the project CI-NOVATEC – "Customer Intelligence for inNOVAtive Tourism ECosystems", funded by the European program Interreg Greece Italy 2014-2020, was held on December 16, 2019 at the conference hall of Palazzo Caputi in Ruvo di Puglia.
The regional network includes the Apulia Region, the Chamber of Commerce of Bari, the municipality of Ruvo di Puglia, the managers of tourist points of interest, the representatives of local associations, local tourist agencies and small and medium enterprises.
During the meeting the cooperation protocol - Regional Network Agreement - between the Bari Chamber of Commerce and members of the network was presented.
The purpose of the project, in which the Bari Chamber of Commerce is involved as partner, is to record and evaluate the experiences of visitors in relation to the services they receive in the selected touristic venue. To this end, a regional network has been established that includes three pilot cities in Apulia, Ruvo di Puglia, Ostuni and Monte Sant'Angelo, which will create local tourist synergies for enhancing the visitors’ experience. Through an innovative methodology, the data described on the customer-visitor experience will be collected. Once analysed, these data will be managed to help political and business decision makers, as well as territorial studies. These studies will be addressed to policy makers, business stakeholders and project partners.
The institutional greetings were made by the Councilor for Youth Policies with responsibility for Tourism Development of the Municipality of Ruvo di Puglia, Monica Filograno.
