Marina of Monte Sant'Angelo

A long series of coves and inlets, kept between high cliffs dropping sheer to the sea. The marina of Macchia, at the feet of Monte Sant’Angelo, gives the possibility to spend a day surrounded by the unspoiled nature, choosing between the relax on public beaches or the comfort of the private ones, inside Gargano National Park.

The villages by the sea, only 9 kilometres away from the town centre, are the perfect destinations for those who love wild landscapes and it is possible to choose between the services offered by Baia del Monaco or venturing towards Mattinata, to discover the high and rocky sea beds of the sea in Varcaro, Chiancamasitto and Punta Rossa, which can be reached walking along paths and trails which lead directly to the strand.
