Clock Tower
The bells of the Clock Tower, tolls every fifteen minutes, marking the passing of the days in Ruvo di Puglia, from the panoramic point of the town in piazza Menotti Garibaldi.
The tower, with quadrangular plan, was built in the 17th century and restructured in the late 19th century. It is covered with an elegant bussage, where two epigraphs stand out, celebrating the Imperator Gordian III, an homage to Ruvo during the Roman time.
The tower, among the oldest ones in Puglia, is part of the system of towers and keeps which used to protect Ruvo di Puglia.
