Falascone State Nature Reserve
The Reserve Falascone was created in 1971 and is located in the area of Monte Sant’Angelo and covers 48 hectares of Gargano National Park.
It is a part of the Umbra Forest, whose vegetation is characterised by broad-leaved plants and beech trees, with many maples and hornbeams.
Some of the wild animals are the roe deer, badgers, wildcats, stone martens, dormice and several birds species.
